Q: Do I need to hire a "local" website designer?
We create websites for clients who are local as well as out of state. By using the Internet, email and the telephone, it is possible to communicate effectively with clients in any location. In the majority of cases a meeting isn't necessary and 90% of our sites are generally completed with contact via email and telephone only.
Q: How long does it take to have a website designed?
The time frame is determined by the size of your website, the complexity of your site design, and our current client design schedule.
Q: Why can't I find my website in the search engines?
Once your site has been submitted to the top Search Engines they may require several weeks, or even months to actually spider and list your website in their directory. How fast your site is listed depends on each individual Search Engines database update schedule.
Q: Are there hidden costs with web design services?
No. We discuss with you your website requirements and then price accordingly and once you have placed an order for your website design with us, that price is strictly adhered to.
Q: How do I update my website?
There are many different methods which can be used to update websites. The method you choose and the functionality we build into your website design is solely up to yourself although of course we will be glad to advise you which method will suit your needs.
If you have a small website consisting of just a few pages and will only wish to make changes very infrequently, then usually it is more cost effective simply to ask you to carry out these changes for you. Other methods which are frequently chosen are largely dependant upon how much data or information and pictures you have and how you store this information at present.
We can provide an on line content management system where you can either update individual products/pages/services or particular sections of your website. e.g. company news. Alternatively we can provide functionality such that you can upload your entire product ranges to the website in one action using spreadsheets etc. We can also add databases if you wish.

Q: Do you offer a broadcast mail solution for a direct marketing campaign?
Yes. Our sites have a very easy-to-use Newsletter that you can use to send out messages to your sales people, clients, or employees. You can build as many different email lists as you like and when your message is sent the system tracks how many people received and opened your email. The email can contain your logo or if you like your entire website header so the recipient can go directly to a link on your site when they receive the email.

Your site will be hosted and registered with GoDaddy.com.
Q: How much storage and how many emails will I get?
GoDaddy offers 3 hosting plans - Economy, Deluxe and Premium. A very robust Deluxe hosting plan includes; 150GB space, 1,500GB transfer and 500 email accounts for $6/month. This hosting plan is sufficient for most of our Clients.
Q: What type of protection do we have from virus with our website or email?
All of the email handled through GoDaddy’s servers is virus protected.
Q: What type of backup and redundancy do you have for website, data, and email?
GoDaddy does daily automatic backups of websites.
Q: What type of technical support do you offer and is it available 24/7?
GoDaddy offers support 24/7 – location, US
Q: What type of additional charges might we incur as we continue with you after the site is launched?
Nothing. Once your website goes Live, you have complete control of your site and no further financial obligation to River Bridge Design.
Q: How much will our site development and hosting cost? Will we know these costs in advance?
